Luminous Ithaka #014
Ever feel like something’s holding you back, even though you know you’ve got all the tools?
This issue is all about building confidence, finding motivation, and staying consistent with your goals and life.
When you trust yourself, it’s easier to take action, and when you take action, it’s easier to stay on track.
As we step into March and the first days of spring, let the energy of this season encourage us to shed old habits and make space for new growth, both inside and out. Whether it’s through tapping into your intrinsic motivation or aligning with your true self.
📌 Building Unstoppable Confidence Through Inner Alignment
Confidence isn’t about being the loudest person in the room or having everything figured out.
It’s about trusting yourself, believing in your path, and showing up with certainty, even when things are uncertain.
But here’s the thing: confidence doesn’t come from the outside.
It’s built from within, ….
Once you start believing in yourself, the next step is tapping into your inner drive.
📌 The Magic of Self-Motivation
Motivation is complicated! Both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation have their value, and they work in very different ways. Understanding these forces can help us harness them in a way that leads to long-term success and personal fulfillment.
But what if motivation isn’t just psychological? What if it’s also deeply connected to our spiritual well-being?
With confidence and motivation in place, the final key is creating a system to stay on track.
📌 Why Isn’t This Happening the Way I Want?
I’ve done so much… I’ve read all the books, attended the seminars, followed the advice, and yet… nothing seems to change! Sound familiar?
Many of us feel stuck despite our best efforts. But the truth is, the key to unlocking what you truly want lies within you, in the relationship between your conscious and subconscious mind.
Your subconscious mind, is responsible for 95% of your actions, even if you don’t realize it.
Here’s where the problem starts:
I hope these articles speak to you as much as they did to me when I was writing them. After all, every article is not just a message to you,
—it’s always a self-reminder for me as well.
Writing these thoughts and reflections is my way of realigning with what I value most: growth, intention, and the inner strength we all have within us.
So, if any of these words resonate with you, I’d love to hear from you—comment and let me know. It makes my journey easier and makes sharing it all the more worthwhile.
A Personal Reflection
As I close this newsletter, I feel compelled to express my deepest sympathy and the overwhelming emotions I’ve carried throughout this week, especially on the 28th of February.
This day marks a solemn remembrance for the majority in Greece and for Greeks around the world, as we honor those lost at the Tembi train tragedy.
Moments like these affect me profoundly, often leading me to question the themes I write about. Yet, tragedies like this also remind us of the fragility of life.
While we cannot ignore the darker aspects of the world or the actions of those in power, what truly matters is our ability to move forward with awareness and kindness.
My words are not for those in the depths of suffering—grief has its own language.
And yet, I believe that living with kindness, intention, and deep-rooted values matters. Not as a cure for loss, but as a way to honor life itself.
In a world that often feels unjust, the choice to move forward with awareness, rather than indifference, is perhaps one of the few things still within our power.
